Service on Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) Special Committee on Accountability, 2009 (see article in Milwaukee Journal Sentinel here.  Created oversight office to govern MPS finance (article here).  Authored editorial in Journal Sentinel on MPS and state accounting practices here.
